Science Action Club (SAC) is an out-of-school time program that features hands-on STEM activities that inspire wonder and spark creativity in middle-school-age youth. Citizen and community projects in each SAC unit connect youth with scientists to help design strategies to protect our planet.
From 2022-2024, Hernandez worked on a rebrand to create a strong and cohesive brand identity. Drawing on existing resources, the brand reimagined its prime features to include an easily recognizable color palette and doodles of the tools featured in each kit to connect to the youthful nature of the program. Below is a culmination of marketing assets that highlights this successful cohesion and rebrand.
Impact Report
Annual report shared with program partners to highlight fiscal year accomplishments. Report pulls on the brand's playful doodle identity and uses brand's primary colors as a easily identifiable feature of the brand.
Kit Catalog
8 page for print catalog. Concept draws on traditional education catalogs. Highlights the tools and features in each kit in the SAC program.
Direct Mail
Box cross brochure for print sent to partners via mail. Focuses on a singular kit in the program and calls existing partners to take action to learn more abut other units in the program.
Branding Guide
Created post re-brand to establish brand guidelines and highlight overall brand identity.
Program Flyer
For print flyer with program highlights and partnership features.
Program Postcard
5x7'" postcard designed to give a program overview with a call to action to scan the QR to visit webpage.
